We believe that taking an active role in enriching the communities in which we live and work is the right thing to do. Our approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) places a priority on philanthropic support and on encouraging employee engagement through volunteerism and ethical behavior.

Corporate Giving

Each year, we contribute to non-profit organizations and programs that provide services to those in need. Our efforts are currently devoted to non-profit organizations whose missions and purposes are focused in the following areas:

  • Communities and Neighborhoods
  • Health and Wellness

Employee Giving

Sentinel employees are encouraged to make a difference through individual giving. Our company matching gift program and community awareness days increase the impact of the gifts they make. Our employees understand that respect, inclusion, teamwork, continuing education and communication help us create “peace of mind” for our clients. Celebrating our success, promoting employee engagement programs and rewarding innovation and achievement also highlight our value proposition and how we behave as a company. In fact, we created the “Helping Others” speaker series—bimonthly sessions where local non-profit organizations discuss their mission(s) to serve the community—to help us continuously strive to be better people, business partners and industry leaders.


Volunteerism

The passion and generosity of our employees bring great value to community organizations serving those in need. We support and encourage their efforts to give back through company-sponsored and individual volunteer activities. Employees are invited to take advantage of a paid day of service each year.
